You Can't Beat it!
Yuengling is one tasty, reasonably priced Lager.
I live in the Tristate area of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. What a wealth of beer and breweries we have here.
I love beer and I don't think if I had planned it, it could have turned out this perfect. Within an hours drive there are a number of awesome breweres:
Yuengling, Stoudt's, Yards and Flying Fish to name just a few.
I used to visit my crazy German friend Martin in Allentown, PA and he introduced me to a number of good brews. My favorite being Franziskaner Heife weisen. What a delicous
summer beer. To me it is the champagne of beers. It goes down smooth and I remember many a joyful time buzzed on it.
Together with a couple of other friends, Andrew (we call him Angrew, as he can be a little grumpy) and Jonathan (who really, really likes the taste of beer.
We assaulted the New York, Philly area, and many places in between for just the right taste.
One of our biggest discoveries was of Czechvar Lager. What a smooth, yet strong lager. It has a decent alcohol content for the buzz factor but it is likely one of the
smoothest lagers I have ever tasted. A friend of mine who hates pretty much everything was having a barbecue. I brought a 6 pack of Czechvar, after he had two
he gave me an angry look and said, "Why didn't you get more of this. This stuff is unbelievable. We hopped in his car and drove to the beer store and picked up a 24.
Which we drank freely and merrily all afternoon. I have some pictures from that day, which I may post, and some foggy memories of tossing his kids very high in the air and I think they landed in
a small wading pool. His wife took the kids inside and we took over the pool. I haven't been over much since then. Possibly I've been uninvited, not sure. Czechvar is a smooth beer to get riled up on!
